It's much better now than when I started with Android back in the FroYo days, but further enhancements would certainly be welcome.

Having recently gone through a phone upgrade and setup, the current way was surprisingly quick and easy. The hardest part was processing all the OS updates that had to be done one at a time in sequential order. The biggest improvement I'd want would be the ability to wrap all the OS updates into one, similar to how the app updates work in the Play Store.
