I don't know whether this will turn out to be a jellybean issue or not, but now, my wifi scanner insists on scanning every few minutes for available wifi networks, even though it's already connected to the strongest signal--my own. I don't think this ever happened with ICS.
This runs down my battery and often intrudes on my connection, as if the wifi scanner were suspending my connection while it searches for another.
Is there a way to manually select the correct connection and just turn off the scanner? I can always turn it on again when I'm traveling.
Thanks.
