How to stop apps from opening other apps.

An app I recently downloaded has many different adds in it and a couple of the adds open the play store or my default web browser app. Is there a setting that I can change to stop allowing apps to open others without permission? There are no settings in the app to stop this from happening, either a system setting or a chrome setting needs to work.

Welcome to Android Central! I doubt it. If the app you installed has a paid version that gets rid of ads, then pay for it. If not, then get rid of the app -- any developer who throws in that kind of annoying adware without a way to get rid of it shouldn't be rewarded with business.
