I can't click on "allow" and "deny" on app permissions.

I have the new oppo reno 5 and having issues with the permission manager. I can't even manually allow an app. Can someone please help? I already tried to look for the overlay but there's none. I also didn't download any suspicious apps.

Welcome to Android Central! Do you mean that the onscreen buttons don't register a tap? How did you look for a screen overlay? It's a little different nowadays compared to a few years ago.

Which app ? It's system app sometimes you can't change it, also what android version you on ? Different android version give certain amount of control .

So when u long press a app then tap info >scroll to permission what options are presented ? If you can give a screenshot also be helpful see what u see .

Go to Settings>Apps>Advanced>Special App Access and select Display Over Other Apps. You can see a list of all of your apps and whether they're allowed to do so.
