Hisense makes very good tablets but their support is non existent. Hisense doesn't provide usb or adb drivers, they only deal with minor issues during the 1 year warranty period. After that absolutely nothing, not even a downloadable stock rom. They promised upgrades to later android versions, but seem to have forgotten about that. My sero 7 pro has "unrecoverable bootloader error" this after trying liquid smooth and then trying to go back to factory reset. Can't get to any recovery options, can't use desktop due to no drivers that allow the computer to communicate with the tablet. bah humbug

Welcome to Android Central! Sorry to hear that, but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. The Sero series are known for being very inexpensive (but still being fairly decent quality), and there's clearly going to be a downside of such a low price. Rooting a device is done completely at a user's risk, so there's nothing they're obligated to do if something goes wrong. Many manufacturers even void the warranty if you root. The upside is that at least you didn't spend $300-400 on it!
