This is a long shot, but I thought I'd put it out there:
When replacing my Droid Mini's battery recently, I apparently broke the 3.5mm headphone jack somehow. The battery life is much better now, but I can't plug the phone into my earbuds or car adapter to listen to music. Doh! I took it apart again to inspect the connections, but I couldn't see what the problem was. Maybe a cracked circuit of some sort.
I know there is a product out there that has a micro usb male end and a 3.5mm female end on it, made to plug in headphones. What's the chance I could get this to work with my Droid mini? For some reason I highly doubt it would work, but maybe someone can tell me if this will or won't work.
