motoprint and HP not working

I have a motorola razr maxx and a HP M1217 wireless laserjet. The printer has been hooked up wirelessly from the beginning and works wireless with all my computers, wife's iPhone and iPad. Never an issue. I'm trying to connect motoprint and the phone is able to find the printer but then says I need to download a PC host. Problem is I have a macbook, and I'm pretty sure there is no PC host. In addition, the macbook is never hooked up to the printer through usb.
