This is my final release, as I am moving on to developing the Froyo Sense Rom and just dont have the time to deal with the 2.1 roms - I will continue to monitor and support them just not developing for them anymore.

This is the New Update from Sprint this is a completely stock rom with everything from the factory included.

Busybox (updated)
ChainsDD Superuser 2.3.6.1

Quick boot
flash_image added back
also added built in Ad-Hoc support (ad-hoc networks show with a * before them)
A2sd 2.7.5.2 (updated to correct startup errors)
Memory Tweak Settings "1536,2048,4096,5120,11264,12288"
Overclocked to 691 no perf-lock
Dalvik to Cache
133 megs after install with out A2SD active (install without ext partition)

This should be more that an optimal setup for 85% of most users. If you feel the need to tweak further then you need to remove these 2 files from system/etc/init.d/ folder
File 1: 05dalvik2cache - controls dalvik
File 2: 06memtweak - controls memory settings
and then reboot.

I set this so you can flash and use with the best experience possible.

Yes there seems to be an issue with the latest A2sd that is causing a failure on install. I have updated the links with a newer version that does work but had to remove A2sd for the time being till I can find the problem.

I probably wount have flashed the kernel this actually has an updated boot img in this from sprint and stock the battery is fantastic, I will be releasing an overclocked kernel for this soon. the only one that hasnt had an issue at this point is the anykernel on xda by Zenerator.

Thanks for the response. I had already went back and flashed the Rom without the OC kernel and did notice the battery life. Was doing lot of downloading and configuring and the battery was barely discharging. Can't wait for your kernel. Thanks for your work on this.

Question, still kinda new to ROMs. Ive been running Kool Aid surgar free since it came out. Can i just move this to SD and flash from Nandroid? or do i have to have all the extra bits ie ADB and such. I dont really have a usable comp atm that i can put all the software on.

You got it just put this zip on your sdcard.Reboot the phone into recovery.Wipe the top three choices then flasht eh zip,reboot.

This happened with my SD card both partitioned for apps2sd and not partitioned for it. I flashed back to the non-apps version and lag was gone. Don't know if it was something I did wrong partitioning or something else. Just wanted to let you know. I partitioned it once as ext2 and once at ext3 using default values. Any help appreciated. Thanks and yes I have heard about the issue, I am working on it, the latest apps2sd has just been a pain I think I figured out the issue and am working on a updated version to fix this issue. should be today or tomorrow.

Odex-is a file that goes along with a apk.It uses less memory,usually boots a little faster then deodex.

Deodex-the odex file is converted an stuffed into the apk.Uses a little more memory,is more customizable.Has more theme.

Nfinite did a great job with putting this together.So i would say if you are not into themes or any of that go for odex.Then make you a nadroid and try out the deodex.I personally run deodex cause its easier to tweak and adjust things.
