S8+ video recordings(.MP4 format) not compatible with windows7 video player/editing software
Hi, Replay/edit/convert the .MP4 format video recordings from the S8+ in a windows7 environment creates errors. For example, using VLC player the image is distorted and freezing. Using Wondershare video editor or their conversion program i merely get the following fault code, "Application fault" or the conversion is not lossless but ugly remake of a non-HD .MKV format.
Video recordings from my Canon dslr and SX710 HS .MOV formats are flawlessly playing and usable in a editing setup.
Yes, i have asked Samsung support and you know what? Yup, you guessed it correctly, to no avail.
