Updates on latest version of Amdroid?

Hello everyone. My question is regarding the updates for the S10. I am still using Android 9 version, and the G973USQU1ASC8 version. I have always been afraid to update to newest versions due to having more issues and having more battery power drained from past phones and updates. Can anyone tell me if it's okay to update to the latest version that's currently out now? Does anyone notice the new version loses more battery faster? I wanted to hear from the android community before trying to update to latest version. Appreciate everyone's help.

I haven't experienced any issues with Android 10 on my S10+.

From my experience, Android 10 on my S10 has been nothing short of fantastic. You shouldn't hesitate.

Thank you all for your replies! Today will be the day I finally update. I think I only had 1 update since the S10 first came out....and after that I didnt allow updates. So it's been about a year since I updated out of fear..lol. Thanks again everyone. Glad to be a part of android central now.
