Android Central Question

Hello All,

I'm hoping someone can help.

I recently obtained a OnePlus 7 Pro 128GB/6GB at the weekend and I am experiencing and issue that can't be explained easily.

When initially browsing web pages, the phone is responsive and loads pages fine. After roughly 3 minutes or 5, maybe 6, webpages later. The loading of theses pages begins to hang.

It behaves like a computer with a poor DNS configured, I want to say its stop sending requests to download webpages.

This will happen on Instagram also, pictures will load fine initially but eventually, further down the feed, the pictures will stop loading…

ATTEMPTED FIXES:
- Tried both Chrome and FireFox, uninstalled and reinstalled both.
- Restart of phone (which will temporarily resolve it but hanging pages inevitably return)
- Close All apps on phone
- Check DNS (I have set my home network to 1.1.1.1, 1.0.0.1 which all connected devices will use by default, confirmed by checking on phone)
- Have not cleared cache but this was happening since minute 1

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Regards
SS

Welcome to Android Central! Does this happen on any wi-fi network, or only your home network? Does it also happen with mobile data?
