I have 2 deals here:

Moto G 2014 - R$ 499,00 (+- U$ 184)
Moto X 2014 - R$ 999,00 (+- U$ 370)

It's worth buying the Moto X over the Moto G? I maybe could sell the Moto G (didnt received yet, but already paid it) for about R$ 550,00, maybe 600,00.

Every video I saw about the Moto X 2014 said that the phone is great, but not the hype everyone is talking about.

I love my Moto X 14 and the Moto G 13'. I'd say if you wanna save money the G is the way to go. If you want or would use the extra specs of the X then get the X! No wrong way to go IMO.

The Moto G is a solid phone and great for a lot of people, but there's a reason the Moto X costs more. The faster processor alone is enough to set them apart: 2.5GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with 2GB of RAM for the 2014 Moto X and 1.2GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with 1GB of RAM for the 2014 Moto G. Then there's the bigger screen for the X, touchless control, etc., etc.

I would only go with the Moto G if you are on a tight budget. The moto g is a great budget smartphone, but it won't have much of the useful features the moto x has. It also lacks the top of the line processor, ram, screen, and metal build.

If you can swing the extra money the moto x is the better choice hands down.

GSMArena has a nice phone comparison tool, where you can quickly compare the differences that matter to you between any two phones you care to name.

Motorola Moto X (2014) vs. Motorola Moto G (2014) - GSMArena.com

The G has certain advantages (if such things matter to you) over the X, such as an SD slot, actual stereo coming out of the dual front speakers (the Moto X is a dual-mono speaker arrangement) and FM radio. In all other areas, including RAM, camera, processor, screen size, screen clarity, and in just about any other way you care to name - well, you get what you pay for. The G is a very good phone, and if your budget is limited or you value expandable memory or don't happen to favor AMOLED screens, it's well worth the money they are charging for it.
