Default Cheapo Extended Battery from eBay

I just ordered a 3500 maH extended battery for my T Bolt from ebay. It was only 9 bucks with free shipping. I figured if it doesn't work, it's worth a shot for only 9 bucks. I have the official 2570 battery from HTC, but saw this on eBay and couldn't pass it up.

Anyone try one of these yet?

Thumbs down Re: Cheapo Extended Battery from eBay

    Update

I just got this from ebay and it damn near fried my bolt... As a warning, do not buy those cheap generic extended batteries from ebay or anywhere else. It was only 9 bucks, but still...you've been warned

I have always felt that if its not an OEM accessory, it would never enter my electronics. That goes for phones, gaming, car, etc. You get what you pay for.

Very true. I did put it in, and it only showed 1350 mah, not the 3500 it was advertised at. Oh well, only 9 bucks...

I also ordered one of these a couple weeks ago. It just came this week. My battery lasts more than a day but my problem is the cover. I lose all data connectivity when i put on the new cover. It looks like it has the proper contacts for the antenna. i don't know whats wrong.

its $9 for a reason!!!!1 no one buys them!1 I also state you get what you pay for...

The HTC 2750 and the Siedio 2750 both work excellent. You actually get what you pay for here... cost about $30.......

Wait a minute. You saved potentially $21 off buying an HTC-branded 2750 battery (currently $30 on Amazon, might be cheaper elsewhere, Verizon has a sale going on right now on them supposedly).

For that $21, you ran a serious risk of the battery not working well, a moderate risk of the battery not working at all, and a slight risk of the battery actually frying your many-hundreds-of-dollars-to-replace phone in a very warranty-voiding way.

Spend the money on decent stuff for your expensive phone.

Your battery is lasting longer because you don't have data.
