Can rooted Thunderbolts have this feature?
Do any ROMs have this feature? My thunderbolt is not rooted and having this feature would be the only reason for me to root (besides all the eye candy and free hotspot).

I mean the ability to skip songs from the notifications window. I use google navigation often and I hate having to open the music app and turn the phone upright every time I want to skip a song. Thanks.
oops I meant to post this thread in the rooting subforum - 11-02-2011, 10:02 PM #2

Which music app?
If you root your phone then it stays the same unless you put on a different rom. - 11-03-2011, 01:14 AM #7
Re: Can rooted Thunderbolts have this feature?
There is an App called Widgetsoid, which allows totally customizable widgets. one of the options is to put a bar of widgets in the notification bar. another option is widget button to control media, personally i don't use that feature since i don't listen to much music. but if you combined those features you'd have your solution. although, that widget would be there when the music is not playing too.

Holy crap. You have single-handedly solved all of my problems. This is exactly what I was looking for. My phone is ten times better now. I thought I had to root to do this sort of thing.
(I assure you the photo is not faked this time)
I love you. How can I ever repay you.
