    after flashing a kernel do you have to do another battery calibration?

    I just keep a copy of battstats.bin on my sd card that I calibrated a while ago. Drop it in the system as needed. And no, calibration shouldn't be necessary after flashing a new kernel.

    You DO NOT HAVE to recalibrate your battery if you don't want to. The battery stats will catch up eventually with regular use with your new setup. Calibrating the battery just makes it catch up faster. I can't remember the last time I calibrated my battery and I change stuff all the time. I never have battery issues.
