Best TB Rom?
Hi all.... i haven't been following up with roms for the thunderbolt in a while... i am just wondering what is currently the best/stable rom to flash? i am currently using bamf 1.10...
thanks - 05-21-2012, 05:34 PM #2
If you like speed go with Thundershed 1.5
If you need Sense features you're already on the best rom. - 05-21-2012, 06:58 PM #3

Re: Best TB Rom?
Well.... Even though I said I had it flashed, perhaps that was misguided... When I flashed 1.11, I immediately flashed imoseyon 6.2.1 and assumed it worked. Upon checking my kernel screen (attachment) it appears it did not actually work.
I apparently also need some guidance. - 05-24-2012, 12:17 PM #9

I was originally running BAMF (several versions up to 1.11) but it was just too slow (most noticeably when switching from portrait mode where I read a TM to landscape mode where I type the reply). I'm currently running Liquid 3.2 and it's much better - how does ThunderShed stack up?

Have you tried thundershed? I never knew how slow bamf 11 it was til I went aosp. Bamf 1.07 was a little faster for me but still turtle speed compared to aosp and i no longer have to oc.
I used imo sense kernel oc to 1.4 (normal). The bamf kernel caused my phone to freeze. I had been on bamf since 1.07 and always did clean installs and set up every app from scratch. Sense on a bolt is just laggy. Nature of the beast. - 05-30-2012, 04:47 PM #21

I take it since you are recommending it you haven't experienced any issues?? Since everyone is saying they didn't know what slow was until they switched to something else, I am thinking of switching. Where did you download from?

It's on rootzwiki. Just be sure to follow the directions in the op there. You need a good gps lock in a sense rom and then go to recovery, wipe, install ts, install gapps, install imoysean aosp kernel, reboot. Skip a step abd you will have issues.
