Yes cause it's not in the folder anymore lol. And I do believe I'm rooted cause titanium back up is working and frozen vz apps.

Thanks tool worked wonders. I am rooted, now I have to figure everything else out like roms, kernels, backups and such. thanks again!!!

hi, i just tried the tool and i chose "1" and enter and it goes to "rooting" then says success! but S-ON is still on and i dont find a supperuser apk. i also tried doing it again and it still gave me the option to (s-off and root). Dont know if i'm doing something wrong. i installed drivers opened tool, chose 1 hit enter.

Hi, I am new to Android Central and I was wondering if you just insert the device into the computer, run the program, and then press 1 to root it?

no nothing opened just the same tool then said rooting then success but nothing else opened

Try to delete the folders root and downloads in support_files and then try running again

ok i re-did it and revolutionary did open inserted key and proceeded. it asked me to install CWM and i said yes and then ADB just closed itself and left me on the fastboot menu, i waited and nothing happened so i chose reboot and phone started back up.. it does say s-off now but i dont see a supperuser.apk i dont know if the process completed itself

I have one more question about the tool. What are the exact applications to uninstall before I use this and how do I uninstall them? I can't find out how to uninstall HTC Sync.

Just go to start menu > default programs > all programs > right click to uninstall
