Absolutely well written. I've followed the steps to a tee. After I added Superuser, Titanium Pro and so on I rebooted now my tb shuts off and displays the droid under a triangle with an exclamation point in it. Can someone, anyone, tell me what i did incorrectly?

First time root, long time hack, instructions worked perfectly on a Verizon TB purchased 09/18/11 with the lastest pushed verizon bloatware.

sorry for the noobness but im looking and i think i need to downgrade from 2.3 to 2.2 for those files to work it really has me scratching my head.

So if I've already upgraded to the OTA Gingerbread, then there's no way for me to root my thunderbolt using a mac? Is there any way to downgrade?

Man I cannot get my device to show. This is as far as I can get:

Don't know if it matters but I have the 1.70.605.0 software currently installed.
EDIT: Deleted the easytether file from my mac and finally got the it to recognize my device.Last edited by SPD; 10-26-2011 at 11:46 AM.

Is there a way to downgrade firmware and use this method again? Haven't found a Mac solution for rooting the thunderbolt on this firmware...

What about using the HTC unlock? Can we do that on Macs?

I just replaced my old Rooted Thunderbolt with a new Un-Rooted Thunderbolt... but I cant' get it rooted again because I have a mac... any help? The files and instructions seem to be outdated with the removal of the file sharing websites.
