Mount EMMC via PC?

With root on my Dinc, when plugged in, I had two drives, the emmc and the sd card. With the TB, I only have the SD card. Is my root incomplete or is this how everyones is behaving?

All you need to do is plug in and see if you get two drives you can mount or one.
