GINGERBOLT SENSE 3.0 STRIPPED

Ok, so here I am again posting another Stripped ROM based off BAMF. Last time people called my ROM "unauthorized." Well that's bad publicity, so I called on a fellow Charlottenian, ThatDudeButch, and got permission. This is Das Bamf's Sense 3.0 port stripped naked of a lot of sense stuff. For me these stripped ROMs have the perfect balance of sense and aosp (IMO).

This one is based in part off the GingerStripped released by Bamf and the other part off my Stripped one i posted not long ago for 2.1 sense.

It contains Imoseyon's most up-to-date GB Sense kernel: v3.3.5

The STRIPPED team consists of:
- GM of Kernel Operation and Co-Developer
- CEO and Temporary PR man (Taking job applications lol)


Remember The BAMF team ported this, so TONS credit goes to them. Go to see their donate stuff and Sense 3.0 info.

For those that think it matters, Quadrant has this w/ a score of 1507 with 1.2Ghz (which i always use.) Battery life is good.

I also kept the brand-spankin' new Das Bamf Toolkit and this was tested on the "MR2.5" Gingerbread Radio for the Thunderbolt.

• Fixed Wifi problems I think. If you still have problems, reflash your Imoseyon kernel of choice.
• Updated to correlate with RC3 of BAMF's Sense 3.0
• Remembered at add Five Bar Signal and Transparent Notification PullDown
• Added Reader app cause I support people reading these days lol
• Updated Car Dock to Sense 3.0's Car Panel, a much nicer UI
• Camera should work flawlessly now
• Fixed Imoseyon tweaks

Known Bugs For Beta 9:
At firsts things can lag up but will fix over a small amt of time. (quick fix is to lock your phone and unlock your phone.. temp fix)

Yeah not at the moment although you aren't the first person to ask. I will probably compile a list of what i took out and what i kept in. Basically I kept Sense 3.0's messages, calender, clock, browser, calculator lol, modded lockscreen, People app, camera, camcorder, Mirror (though i think i might take that off soon), and I kept task manager.

How did you keep the sense widgets if your not using the sense launcher. Unless you mean you only kept the apps, not the widgets.

Cool thanks for the info. I'll give it a try this weekend. I'm still trying to find something that has most of the sense elements out there, but uses AOSP contacts / dialer and possibly messages.

I'll give it a shot and let you know.

Does this rom have the extremely slow battery charge bug? I've stayed away from most gingerbread roms cause they all have it.

No! That download took me an hour and a half on my desktop, and Rom Manager won't load the dasbamf rom page for me. Oh well, thanks anyway.

yeah and this isnt directly related to the Bamf team. Its just me doing this for them so it wont be on their ROM Manager but it is an idea i will work with them on

PS RC3 came out for sense3.0 sooooo update should come today lol

I got the following from it: f5e4e16064c1adf149d50201496dc315

*** EDIT: Downloaded again and get the same checksum code... it's still not matching... I double checked and downloaded version 8 and got the correct checksum.
