Hold down power button for five seconds, that will power it down easier. Mine did it a couple of times this afternoon but stopped on its own.

Yep did it a couple times since I bought it on the 10 not a biggie. I've seen people freaking about it on toshiba forums

My Thrive has never had that prob. Although I downloaded the update that knocked on Thrive's door shortly after I unboxed it, I've not installed it. From what I read on the Toshiba site's Thrive Forums, that update may be the cause of the sleep issues. Has anyone in here NOT installed the initial update and HAD the sleep issues?

I have the same issue with mine but I assume it'll be fixed in a upcoming update. Seems to happen ramdomly where sometimes it'll come right out of sleep other times it requires a hard reboot. I bought a 10.1 tab a week before this and it turned off one day and would not power back on, this sleep issue is minor in my opinion as long as it is fixed.
