Thrive no longer on Best Buy's website?

I was shopping for a Thrive yesterday, and was considering Best Buy because of their finance option. When I checked this morning, I can't find the Toshiba Thrive anywhere... Am I crazy?

They have the advert for the Thrive (link above), but when you click it, the product is not found.

I clicked your link and it took me to the Thrive. I'm debating trying out a tab.

It will take you to the thrive, but try to put one in your cart. Doesn't work for me... perhaps it is a location based issue.

You aren't crazy. I was just trying to buy one myself. I just got back from the store to see it in person, and after debating, decided I wanted to get one. I called back up to the store, and they have them in stock, but I wonder why they don't show up on the website. Very odd.

The demand must have broke their system!

I kid but in all seriousness it might be a temporary issue with the BB website, I would try again tomorrow or try ordering one in your local store.

I called the national customer service line (888-BEST-BUY), and they don't show it in their system. I plan to drive back over to the store later to buy one, but like I said, very odd.

It seems doubtful, but I wonder if they pulled its availability? The only major issue I've heard of is the sleep issue, but I thought that had been addressed.

I clicked the link again, and after that I called BB to ask them. That link is for their "Back to School, AFTER Midnight Sale". Click it again after Midnight ET and you will be able to buy one at a "special price" on one until 8am ET. If you continue to click through on those links, it takes you to this page which doesn't show the Thrive, but BB says it will be on sale also. BB says it will be on sale, not me.

This could be true, but I'm still confused because the Thrive isn't listed as one of the sale items. I will probably hold off buying though, in case they are going on sale tonight.

Edit: I saw that link for the back to school sale earlier, and clicked through hoping the Thrive would be there, but only saw back covers. Would be awesome if this is the case, since I was going to buy one anyway.

Well, I just added one to my cart for store pickup, so whatever was happening, it's working as it should now.

Well, looks like the sale is on. I don't see the Thrive, but there are some nice deals on there, including back covers for the Thrive for $13.99 (reg $19.99). Looks like I'll just have to pick it up tomorrow at regular price.
