I agree, don't know what improvement they could make. Only thing i can think of, is the ability to remove bloat ware.
So glad i didn't try Kaspersky.
I'm glad you didn't try K too---You definitely made the right choice, Gal!

I was checking out the Thrive site (Android? Tablet Computers | Toshiba - Thrive? 10-Inch Tablet) and noticed in the middle, there now is an Android Robot holding the ICS Android robot picture saying upgradable to Ice Cream Sandwich. I didn't see the files in the support site and haven't yet seen it in the upgrade app on the device.
They announced early fall now.

I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER TOSHIBA PRODUCT AGAIN,, NOTHING FROM THEM, THEIR A DISHONEST COMPANY.
Thanks for that information! Do you have a link for that announcement?
matt
I have had my Thrive since Febuary, and I've had to reset if 6 times so far.
Toshiba has pushed the ICS update back to early fall, which might mean in the winter.
Now Jelly Bean is out, and will be old by the time we Thrive owners get ICS, if ever, and now I'm thinking never.
IT WOULD BE VERY NICE IF GOOGLE,, could have an ICS or JB update, that is downloadable, and would wipe out blokeware from tablet owners.
Like WIndows, that can be downloaded.
The Thrive is my first tablet ever, but I'm going to wait on a Google tablet, buy it, and give theThrive to one of my daughters,, maybe the five year old.
I wish we could sue Toshiba for lying.
