2.3.4 update alarm clock

Since updating couple weeks ago, I went from the stock hardware right to this gingerbread and I like the improvements for the most part. The alarm clock though doesn't seem to allow for just a one time alarm. Where I always showed something like 6 hours 20 minutes, it would now show 6 days, 6 hours and 20 minutes unless I went in and checked everyday on the repeat alarm. And now have to go in to recheck everyday once a week. Very irritating. I just want to set my alarm amd have it go off once and I will set it again the next time I want it. Thanks

can't remember if it was this way in 2.3.4, but I have "one time event" in the clock menu now with GO Launcher EX over the top.
