im leaving now, but explaining what you mean by bricked, how did you do it? what were you trying to do? what were the steps you took to get to this point. more description otherwise no one can help you

i was trying to revert to stock firmware 2.1 using odin and somehow in the process my phone went to the samsung splash screen and wont go any further

no it did not complete and now when i try to re-flash it fails

There is a trouble shooting section in that thread. Reboot your comp and follow it... It sounds like you left the battery in the first time
