A few days ago I updated to 4.0.4 on my Galaxy 3 and now several times a day ads pop up from an app called "DailyPerks". I did some research and it turns out that it is something that US Cellular thought we needed so they installed it as a system app with no uninstall. Has anyone else seen this and if so is there a way to get it to stop? My S3 is stock and I have no desire to root. Thanks in advance, CC

Go to settings> application manager> all> scroll to daily perks and click disable. It will stop it from sending the perks.

You may find yourself disabling many of the additional apps that came along with the new update. Your battery will thank you.
