Removing US Cellular as default home page in browser
Is there any way to remove the US Cellular home page as the default home page in the browser? It's annoying having it load their site every time I launch the browser. Also, is there a way to remove the US Cellular book mark as well? Really have no desire whatsoever to visit their home page on my phone and the bookmark just adds clutter to my menu.
Thanks! - 01-23-2013, 09:15 AM #2
Re: Removing US Cellular as default home page in browser
The fix is the same for both. While in the browser, hit the bookmark icon. Once your bookmarks populate, you can press and hold on a bookmark to delete it. You can also choose to press and hold on a bookmark and select "Set as homepage."

Re: Removing US Cellular as default home page in browser
It seems that, in their infinite wisdom, USCC has chosen to make their bookmark a permanent fixture in the stock browser. You can't edit it or remove it. I bet someone smarter than me could figure out a hack to dump it but I'm not losing any sleep for having it there.
Blessed are they who can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused.
