Im having some serious fc with the stock email app. Any suggestions as to what to do?
I tried going into manage applications and cleared cache from there, no luck.

Re: Force close on stock email?
Delete the email accounts from the menu.
Menu>Settings> Accounts and Sync> select account and hit remove account.
Then go into Menu>settings>application>manage applications> select all,
Now find the email app, select force stop, clear data, clear cache. See if it opens up without force closing.
Also, are you rooted? If so, try to narrow it down to the app, remove the stock email cilent via root explorer or of that nature with another file manager. Try using another app like k9 for pop/imap email, or touchdown for exchange. - 07-22-2011, 05:07 PM
