Sudden drop in battery life/services running

Something happened in the last few days that took my battery life way down. I am running Juice Defender and have had very good time until very recent. One thing I notice is several services running that I have no idea why they are running or how to shut them off. The mystery services are mostly Verizon bloatware that I have no use for.

Media Hub
Rhapsody
Slacker
2 Maps services and processes (why two?)
VVMService
Email/Enhanced Email (I use EE so why would the legacy Email app/service be running?)

I also ended up rebooting the phone because some others were running and memory was almost full. I'm not sure all this is the cause of the sudden drop in battery life but it can't be helping.

Any ideas? Am I on the right track looking at running services?

I have those same services running constantly also. I've force stopped Slacker and Rhapsody many times but they just start up on their own because they are Verizon bloatware. The only way to stop them is to root. Same with the stupid 11 MB Let's Golf app. Although it isn't running, you can't take it off your phone.
