I'm making this post on the Droid Charge!

Pics and details will follow.

Nobody will believe you, of course, until you show us the goods. But I'd sure like to get some early info on the device.

I'll throw out a few questions to start things off...
* What's the screen like?
* Battery life?
* Please try it out with a bluetooth keyboard and mouse if you have them
* Do you have any scoop on the accessories like the dock or extended battery?
And most importantly...
* Is there any way to switch 4G off manually?

I took pics with my phone but I'm playing on the charge. (No reason for me to lie.)

The super AMOLED Plus is nice. I don't really see much of a difference between it and my Fascinate. (The bigger screen is nice though.)

Not going to have the time to test long term battery life but it is a 1600mah battery.

I just copied a powerpoint about accessories to my phone.

In the factory settings you can disable LTE and run 3G.

Could you confirm or deny the call quality issues that were reported about the phone? I really want to pre-order this today and that is the one thing holding me up.

LOL, in a previous thread he states that he next week will be training with the droid charge for he works at vzw....so yeah...i believe him

The LTE/3G switch is spectacular news! I'll be in the store to get one tomorrow unless we hear a showstopper problem. Can't wait to hear about accessories.

Btw, if you get the opportunity, would you check to see if the dock and/or car dock work with an extended battery installed?

After the fiasco with the Thunderbolt launch and the wait for the Charge and the news about the Bionic being pulled, it's taken away a bit of the fun of waiting for the right phone. But now I'm finally feeling it... and what an upgrade this will be, as I'm upgrading from a very old Palm Treo 700p!

I made a few test calls and it sounded good. (No issues on either end of the call.)

Didn't think to test SVDO.

They tweaked touchwiz a bit with a few new widgets but no drastic changes.

Didn't have that kind of alone time with the device. This was a conference room training where everyone was given a phone to play with.

-Showed 1.06GB internal memory available, comes with an installed 32GB card.
-8MP camera (720P video.)
-1.3 front camera.
-Dual microphones for noise canceling.
-HDMI output.
-1600 MAH battery

And I really was not stoked about the touch buttons but they are big and nice. I liked using them a lot more than my touch buttons on the Fascinate.

And on a crappier note they did an attendee raffle and gave away 3 Charges and I did not win. :'(
