Default The Thunderbolt Exchange Charge Arrives Today

Verizon sent a new "service" body then sent a retail battery door a retail battery and a retail charger. All for free pretty cool I think. Im really liking the Charge so far.

Im sorry but how did you get this? Is it a new phone? Did you exchange or trade from Tbolt? Did you get two batteries?

I am possibly going to get a charge this week and am looking for the best deal and am concerned about battery life on 4G.

    Thanks!

Yes, how did you get all that for free? Did you have all of those accessories for the Tbolt.

I too am thinking I am going this route. I have had 3 warranty replacements on my Thunderbolt so I think they are just going to give me the Charge, just waiting for the email back from them.

Do you think it is worth getting the Thunderbolt, even though some have issues, some don't. And also how much does the Verizon warrenty cost.

I decided to get the Droid Charge, the TB just has too many issues for me to go back to it. I have opted for the full package warranty/insurance from Verizon $7/month. Verizon does cover the phone for a year on the warranty side, and the insurance is just the extra protection (some say a waste) but if you lose your phone or it get stolen I don't want to pay $600 or more for a replacement.

So you used your insurance to replace the thunderbolt with a charge?

Hey Raptor007, I couldn't help but notice that you posted here that you just picked up your new Droid Charge and on the LG Revolution forum your saying you just picked up your Revolution.

I'm a little confused. It sounded like a personal phone and opinion but now I'm wondering what your doing. Just curious. These people are looking for honest opinions before they spend their hard earned money so I hope your at least trying to be legit.

They didn't replace it through Assurion at all. What they did was exchange the Thunderbolt and gave me a Charge instead. I got a service replacement head no retail boxes. Since the Charge is so new they don't have refurbish units yet so what they give you is a brand new service chassis less the battery the battery door and SD card. Then you are expected to use the other stuff from your original handset like a refurb. Since I didn't have this stuff what she did for me was send me a Charge chassis and then sent me free of charge a retail battery door a retail replacement battery and charger to make a whole phone. I just reused my SD card from the Thunderbolt. Here is a pic of how it came. All I did was pop in my SIM charge the battery and I was good to go! You just have to be lucky enough to connect with someone that knows her way around the ropes at Verizon C/S. I love this phone!
