Great news! Assuming this is the announcement for the Droid DNA, does anyone have any educated guesses as to when the device will actually be available? I shattered the screen on my phone so I am anxiously awaiting this release and will almost certainly go with this, or possibly GN2.

I would say that it will come out the following week on Thursday but this is Verizon so they will more than likely say it's coming 'soon'

Is this the device to get on the 13th? No.
Is anyone else getting tired of the (n)ever changing look the their UI?

I agree, sense does not appeal to me at all, I would love to get my hands on a screen that nice but I can't decide if sense is worth it.

Dying to see this phone. Right now I'm trying to decide on a new phone but there's something in each of all of the new ones that fails to thrill me. Samsung's UI, Droid MAXX's camera, Nexus 4 lack of LTE, etc. Hoping the DNA is the one. Kind of like the HTC One, but I'm on Verizon.

Chances are high that this phone will start to see a fair amount of development, so Sense is a moot point as one can easily use a different launcher or install custom ROM's.

I feel a December release. Verizon likes to stall on the cool stuff.

As odd as it sounds, I have always thought this. I mean the Nexus took forever, the GS3 was the last in the US, even back to the original Galaxy phones, the Fascinate was out 2 to 3 months after all of the other carriers.
