The Droid DNA is SIM-unlocked (that means it works on AT&T)

Well, will you look at that.
How to use the Verizon Droid DNA on AT&T (or any other GSM network) | Android Central
Here are the APN settings I used for AT&T.

Now that's interesting, I would have never guessed that could be done.

All new Verizon LTE phones (ex. iPhone 5) HAVE to have GSM unlocked per the FCC because they make use of the 700mhz spectrum for LTE. That was one of the requirements from the FCC in order to sell the spectrum. You guys didn't think Verizon was that nice... LOL!

I am new to this. I just got me a Droid DNA and it's unlocked so my phone "AT&T" is working but how do I get my DATA to work and change me APN. I manually typed the APN settings from above but no luck. What am I doing wrong.

Text messaging is not working. Does anyone knows the correct settings to be able to send and receive pictures?

Re: The Droid DNA is SIM-unlocked (that means it works on AT&T)
Just got my Droid DNA today ($600 at Amazon). Love the hardware, but couldn't get data to work using Phil's APN settings. I finally switched Preferred Network to "Global" from "GSM/UMTS" and data started flowing. I don't know what those settings mean, but figured I'd post it here in case anybody else is in the same boat.

Re: The Droid DNA is SIM-unlocked (that means it works on AT&T)
One question. I have a Droid DNA and its new so when I start it, it starts a setup wizard to connect to verizon but since I have a att sim in it and no service with verizon, its just keeps trying to connect to verizon and I can do anything but open the dial pad for E. calls. how do you skip this setup wizard??
