Lock screen Icons Customizable or Removable?

As the title says, can you customize or change the lock screen icons.

The last Sense phone I had was an Inc2. I wouldn't be using their text messaging app or their browser.

This will be added upon a rooted ROM image you can be certain.

Change Icons on the dock changes home screen icons....works with most all latest htc phones....

Thanks guys. This is kind of important to me if I'm gonna make the switch. I hate wasted configurations like that.

Buenos got it right, I had to think since it had been awhile, I use Handcent as text app... needed to get that on the lock screen

You definitely can change the icons on the lock screen. As has been noted by others, whatever you have in the dock (the little bar at the bottom of your home screens) is what will show up on the lock screen:

Yes you can change them out.....the ONLY Htc Phones ON Verizon that allow you to have 2 diffrent sets of Widgets are the Rezound running 4.0.4. With Sense 3.6 and the ThunderBolt running the same software.
