Got My DNA!

So far so good with the DNA. The screen is very nice, & surprisingly the 11 gigs wasn't bad as expected. After setting everything up today, tomorrow I can test the battery life.

After 9 hours on WiFi only, zero screen brightness (which is pretty bright) & moderate use I'm at 40% battery life. Tomorrow ill test it on 4G only.

That's not too bad. Is that a lot on wi-fi?

Yes mostly in WiFi with the lowest screen brightness. Tomorrow is the 4G test.

Today it lasted 9 hours of very heavy use (Bluetooth calls through car speakers, music playback, brightness on max, no WiFi at all, strictly on 4g all day)

That's actually not all that bad. I can kill an iPhone 5 in that time under the same conditions.

I'm starting to think the DNA has pretty stellar battery life for most phones. Maxx/Maxx HD and Note 2, notwithstanding.

Moderate usage today mostly on WiFi, streamed cloud music, made phone calls, & played words with friends. After 12 hours it still has 25% battery left. After thorough battery testing I've decided to keep her. It really is a very nice device. When they release a version of this with a bigger battery & more memory, it will be a beast of a phone.
