How come under running apps in settings RAM shows 800MB/1.5GB? Is 500MB reserved?

Probably means 800 used out of 1.5gb total

But the phone has 2GB?? Which is why im asking.

HTC does that. See the screenshot from my One X.[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...] It shows total RAM to be 976MB whereas this phone comes with 1GB. So I guess some is reserved..

Mine has 833 but its 1gb so some is used up
