I'm extremely annoyed by this. I have an AOL, Yahoo, and Exchange email accounts on my phone. Whenever I receive an email, and read it and delete it on my computer, the phone still shows the email as new. Over the course of the day, I might get 50 emails, and delete 45 of them. At the end of the day I pick up my phone and all 50 emails are on my phone and marked unread. SO frustrating. Any suggestions?

Maybe it's the way the accounts are setup.... Did you setup your exchange account as an actual exchange or as pop... That can sometimes cause some problems...

If you are using the standard mail client, I assumed you checked your settings for deletions?

No, I cannot see from the photos. It probably is on, but I mean from the phone's general settings, is autosync on, as pictured below

This problem keeps getting worse. One of the other issues i've noticed is that if I try to move mail to another folder it only shows a few basic options and none of my personalized Yahoo folders. If I move an email to a folder on my computer, then delete it from my phone, it deletes it from the folder on the computer. meaning I'm stuck leaving everything in the inbox on my phone. FML

I assume you have tried removing the mail account, rebooting, then re-adding the mail account? You might try it if you haven't, bu I doubt it will help to be honest. Might be worth a try ..

I have the same issue on both my accounts. Yahoo and college exchange account. I also do not have that server delete option anywhere! I am using the stock app. Hopefully an update will come shortly.

I have the same issue with my Yahoo account. It is very annoying. My wife switched to the Yahoo Mail app which works fine for her. I don't want to switch because I like having a unified inbox with my exchange account for work, which works fine by the way.

And I don't have the option to "Sync deleted options from server". I wonder if there is a way to do a manual setup. If I recall correctly, for Yahoo, hotmail, etc. all you do is enter your email address and password and it automatically configures everything for you. But if you could do a manual setup I wonder if that would work better.
