emoji's

So I searched through the threads and can't find the answer. I know that jelly bean has emoji support and I can see them on my phone but i want to know if i can write them. Does any body know?

I have been able to do this through GoSMS and the emoji keyboard you download through the Play store, but I desperately want to use the stock messaging app. Does anyone know how to enable the ability to send emojis through the stock messaging app? Thanks!

Multiling is the only keyboard I've been able to find to use emojis. I've been writing to the Skype team hoping to get it integrated into their keyboard they've read and told me they'll get back to me as soon as possible to let me know.

This is the one drawback that I am really hating about switching from the iphone. the 10 stock android emoticons don't cut it, and I don't like any of the other keyboards available.
