Is there a way to preview sounds in the notification settings.

If you go into Sounds in the Settings panel, then select Notification Sounds, the sounds will preview as you select each one. If you are not hearing it, select Volumes under Sound and make sure you don't have something turned all the way down.

As stated above it will allow you to scroll through and hear each sound.
Once you settle on what you like, hit "Apply" to make it stick.

You are correct!! Thank You I had a volume setting all the way down.

I think I am going to set my signature to say " Your phone is only as smart as you are."
