No Sound Through Wired Headphones

I really, really hope I didn't get a dud DNA.

I've tried playing music through 2 different sets of wired headphones and I'm not hearing anything. Hopefully, it's just a setting that I missed somewhere and not a hardware issue. Any ideas on which settings I should look at?

If the volume is turned up, then you probably have a dud. Go to sounds in settings and make sure everything is turned up but other than that you might be looking at returning it.

When the headphones are plugged in do you have a headphone emblem on your message bar? If not, unplug the headphone and restart the phone and plug them back in. If does not work swap out the phone. Hope this helps.

Thanks for your help Jay and DNA1. You have confirmed my worst fears. LOL. Well, not my worst, but I do have to return it. The headphone icon does appear when they are plugged in and the sound settings appear normal. Oh well. I hope the next one isn't a dud also.
