Joelz9614 is working on a Google edition port for the dna and a port of android 4.2.2 with sense 5. He says he also has zoe working on the dna.

Update: [ROM][ALPHA]2.24.401.1 M7 Port[Sense | Droid DNA > XDA

He has had problems getting Verizon data working. Everyone that has tried it says its really smooth. Just don't flash it for daily use, its only to test it out right now. It's Sense 5 with android 4.2.2. Right now I think he is waiting for a leak of the Verizon htc one system dump, or a leak for the dna.

I'll give HTC and Verizon until the end of summer. If Sense 5 and 4.2.2 don't get released by then, then Root/ROM it is.

Don't wait around for slowerizon enjoy sense 5 now root and rom, you can always go back to stock to get the ota.

I've been following the thread. Looks like the last issue with the Kernel (USB Charging) has been resolved. Should see some new ROMS soon.

I'm still pretty nee to this, so bare with me. Are they porting the GE ONE kernal to the DNA? And after that they will release a GE Rom that is compatible with the kernal?

That is how I understand it, but it isn't just limited to a GE ROM. Joel mentions that the updates allow for both GE and Sense ROMSsto work.
