dna errors and sim card dropping

i have a dna running the original software android 4.1. since i bought this phone i had sim card errors. i received a update and it went away for a while now the last two weeks it has been happening two plus times a day. i also saw a error yesterday for the first time (puk unlock or locked not sure). i should note my wife has the same phone bought the same day and has never had any errors.

Have you spoken to your carrier about this? Maybe you need a new SIM.

I asked once when the phone was still pretty new and there response was oh you need the new update. Which i do not want and the phone did this before the android ver. Was released.

Tell them that you updated the phone as they advised, and the problem is still there. If they can't seem to help you, ask to speak to the next level up in tech support.

My SIM seems to "loosen" in the slot occasionally--once every 2 or 3 months. I just press on SIM slot (next to the power button) with my fingernail and its fine.
