Agenda Widget No Longer Auto-updates after GB Upgrade

Good Day,

My wife and I upgraded to Gingerbread last week. Overall we are very happy with it. However, the HTC Agenda Widget no longer automatically updates. On Froyo, whenever we would scroll over to the widget, it would automatically update, displaying the current day and scrolling off events that had already taken place. Now, the only way to get it to update is to delete it and re-add it and/or edit the settings and exit which forces a reload.

I realize that there are other calendar/agenda widgets out there. I have pulled down Android Agenda Widget and like it very much. My wife, not so much. Does anyone know how to "fix" the HTC Agenda Widget so it starts auto-updating again?

The fix will have to come from HTC it self. The only thing I could think of maybe fixing it is doing a factory reset but I'm not sure even it that would do it.
