    Default CDMA and Global mode

I've changed the preferred network to cdma. Where i work i get 0 signal so it keeps saying do you want to change to global or stay in cdma. I check don't ask again and select stay in current mode.

    but it keeps asking
anyone else have this happen after gb upgrade?

You can always take the SIM card out. That way it can't enter global mode. That's what I did. I have no use for the global capabilities though.

My phone occasionally thinks I'm in the Netherlands while traveling under Boston on the subway. I had to change to CDMA only.

CDMA doesn't use a SIM card.

Under Boston is a wormhole that transports you to another portal under a bar in The Netherlands. It's not on any of the travel brochures.

Trick I learned from my old bb storm days. I just flipped the sim over, phone doesn't think it's there, but I don't lose it.
