SMS Bug

Hey all,
I know that this bug has been an issue for a while and is not just happening to my Incredible 2. The bug I'm referring to is the one where you click on a text conversation and you begin to text someone else, pretty random. Anyways, I thought google was supposed to be pushing an update or something for this. Is this still happening to others?

I think this is the first time I've heard of this. I do lots of texting and this hasn't happened to me.

Are you running the new Gingerbread update?

i had this same bug with Froyo, and still have it with Gingerbread....

Yes, I had this problem with Froyo too. Running Stock Incredible 2, if that helps.

I've seen this with GO SMS. I'd tap "John" in the top of the convo list to reply.... and Bill's thread would pop up, but Bill's thread is towards the end of the list, and I'd have to scroll to find it. It happens very rarely, but when it does, it can be annoying.

I'm not sure how bad this is for other devices but...Google Responds To Android SMS Bug: Fixes Are On The Way | TechCrunch , all I know is that we shouldn't have to worry if were texting the wrong person when we reply in a convorsation.

This used to happen on my Fascinate but has yet to happen on my Inc2... Thank goodness.
