    Default Installing .apk Void Warranty?

Can I install .apk files without root (or at least just the new Android Market .apk file), and will this void my warranty?

I've never heard of manually installing apk's (from other sources than the Android Market) voiding any warranty.

Yeah I've never heard of that voiding warranties either. I think the only way to void your warranty is if you root your phone.

I third that. Installing .apk's will not void warranty.

I fourth that. Simply installing a .apk file will not void your warranty. You would have to root for that to happen.

Installing apps that aren't from the Android Market won't void your warranty. All you have to do is go to Settings>Applications and check Unknown sources to allow other apps to be installed.
