Wife received new incredible 2. Came from a BB where she could delete multiple emails at one time. Cant figure out how to do it on the incredible 2. She is very cranky right now. I put her hotmail on through the regular email account and sync and put it in under windows live account. Comes up in the general email box.

Interesting, I sync my Yahoo mail with my DI2. There is a check box next to each header allowing me to mark multiple messages at one time. This may be a glitch with Hotmail.

Does her phone have Gingerbread, Android 2.3.3?

Di2, Gingerbread, Hotmail user.
My stock email program has check boxes on the left side of each email. Once you begin selecting emails a Delete option appears at the bottom of the screen.

FWIW, I use K-9 Mail and it allows me to do this.
