Pandora Radio App

Pandora Radio for my Inc2 keeps messing up. It will rarely ever play the whole song even with full 3g or wifi. It usually stops about half way through and then just go to the next song. Does anyone else have this problem or know a solution? Thanks.

I experienced this issue just this past weekend actually. I have used Pandora a lot and never had this issue before, all I did this particular time was exit Pandora and go back in and everything was just fine after that. I should also mention that I am rooted and never had this problem pre-root so who knows it could be that or something else.

This started happening to me about a week ago. Really irritated me since I use Pandora to get me through the monotony of running on a treadmill. I've tried quitting and relaunching and I've also tried reinstalling, but nothing has helped yet. I have no clue what else to do.

Same here... Brand new phone I just activated yesterday. I did update it with whatever Verizon was pushing before I used it. It plays about a minute of each song. Longing for a fix as my car radio has a Pandora app, but 1minute is very annoying.

Must be something with the app then. As I stated earlier I am rooted and was running Virtuous' Unity ROM and had the issue. Since my last post I flashed the CM7 ROM but have yet to try out Pandora. I will load it up later today and see if the issue still occurs with CM7.

FYI - Pandora appears to play fine if I turn of the data connection, and just use WiFi. I've rebooted, reloaded, deleted data, turned WiFi off/on, use it while driving with good coverage - it still plays 60-90 seconds of the song and then goes onto the next.

Big pain, as my car radio supports Pandora integration on my phone (displays, controls, etc) - but only getting pieces of the songs are a pain.

Just tried it ... Played just fine running off of WiFi at the office. I'll try it later when I am away from WiFi.

Just tried it again on WiFi and 3G and both worked just fine.

So how come I now see A TON of comments on this issue on the Marketplace with the just-released Pandora app?

On the positive side, I am working with the engineers to fix it on the DI2 - have had to send quite a few log files to Pandora.
