    Default Dont upgrade switch carriers!

The droid Incredible 4G LTE was the best phone to be release since the Droid Incredible. Verizon Wireless has locked the bootloader on the Droid Incredible 4G LTE. That means that they own the device not you. It would be like me coming into your house and using your phone, playing on your computer, or sending a virus to your network. With a locked bootloader VZW can update your device with out any real knowledge of how you use your phone. I customize everything I own except the Droid Incredible 4G LTE because even through it is paid for VZW owns it. I dont rent I buy but VZW has taken away my right to own that was given to me in the Constitution. Be aware that VZW has become a monopoly and they will own you if you let them.

    Default Dont upgrade switch carriers!

Unfortunately, there's little choice in smaller screen android phones with Verizon. Both my wife and daughter have DInc2s. They don't wan't a Nexus because its too big. Fortunately you can get a like new DInc 4g on eBay under $300 now and keep unlimited with VZW. But like you said with a locked boot loader and HTC's rep you will never get upgrades. Another reason not to buy it on a 2 yr contract.

Nice phone but evil carrier and no support.
