Droid Incredible 4G: phone won't turn on after update

Hello. My phone did an update and when it went to reboot it shut off and now wont turn on. No light's no nothing... even when plugged in it does nothing. Removed battery and tried resetting (held power and vol down), removed sd also. Its like its dead. Any info on this? Thank you

Welcome to Android Central! That doesn't sound good. How long did you try holding the Power button down for? Sometimes it takes upwards of 10-15 seconds.

A good minute... verizon basicly said its dead..... and not from the update.. it was a coincidence he said...

Remove the battery, wait ten seconds, put the battery back in and hold the power button for five seconds.
